We've actually been together five years, but you're only married for one month once so I'm giving it a shout out on the ol' blog. Andrew is actually in Orlando right now, working hard and eating pizza (it's part of his job) and I miss him! He'll be back early tomorrow and we have plans to celebrate a fun weekend together since our business trips overlapped and we haven't seen each other for more than a week. But until then, I'm going to post a few pics of us throughout the years! It's old-school I know, but the early pictures I have of us are *gasp* not digital. I think I printed them and deleted them without uploading them to my computer. So we begin our journey through time with:
Andrew's 2oth birthday, two months after we first met my freshman year of college. We were picking up smiley face confetti for months after this.
Our first Christmas spent together, sophomore year (for me), junior year (for him). I seriously thought we were going to blow off the Empire State Building.
Dining on delicious Loco-Pops in Chapel Hill, North Carolina where Andrew did an internship the summer after his junior year.
Sight-seeing in Austin, Texas, where I did an internship that same summer.
Spring Break in Destin junior/senior year.
Our third-year anniversary at one of my favorite restaurants!
Christmas in my hometown. Please note that we are, in fact, posing in front of the Christmas tree. It is just so small we cover it up.
Mardi Gras Ball on the Mississippi Coast in February 2009, I believe. We were rockin' the 70's look, but the beads cover it up.
Engagement party in Winter 2009. Champagne and cigars!
Petting a giant cardboard cat on a cruise ship in December 2009. Because who doesn't like an awkward moment?
Engagement shoot in December (I think) 2009.
Married in August 2010! Woot!
Cutting the cake. I think this is after Andrew ate a daisy instead of cake. Why else would my mom be laughing so hard in the background? I noticed later that some of the chocolate cupcakes had already been eaten. How funny!
Honeymoon day trip to Tybee Island, Georgia. Which, by the way, is where The Last Song with Miley Cyrus filmed. Just sayin.'
Have a lovely Tuesday night everyone!
Those are very cute pics. I love the Christmas tree one.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I just realized that I need a job in which eating pizza is part of my job description.
Happy anniversary you two!
ReplyDeleteWe honeymooned in Tybee too!! Last September- before the movie came out, but after they filmed it. I had no idea. Met Nicholas Sparks when I was down there, too. We went back over labor day weekend this year.
ReplyDeleteCongrats!
Cute photos and happy anniversary! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the photo evolution. You guys are so cute!!!! Happy one month anniversary! Our six month is Monday!
