 Last week, Betty @ Northwest Betty and Jayme at The Simple, Sweet Life gave me my second blog award! Thanks! (If you haven't checked out their blogs, you must--I love them!) So now I get to give it out. Here's how it works:

Ok, so here are seven random things:

1.) I grew up near across the street from some sort of semi-farm. Once a peacock came into our driveway, and an emu laid eggs in my dad's boat. A horse got loose and ran circles around our house. Looking back, it was not a well-secured semi-farm.

This is a different emu that lived near my house. I promise I'm from a normal town ... of emu-lovers.

2.) My stepfather is a potter and I love it! Our house is filled with ceramics.

3.) I use an extreme amount of cups and leave them everywhere, much to the distress of those around me.

4.) I interned in Austin, Texas for a summer at a magazine.

5.) I talk to strangers for a living, but don't like to order pizza or make appointments or talk to randoms on the phone when it's non-work related.

6.) I didn't like condiments until last year, starting with ketchup and I felt really ashamed about it. Now I kind of like a tiny bit of mustard.

7.) This one is from Nurse A: I don't close cabinet doors, ever, and I don't even notice.


Now I get to give the award to seven people! I'm trying not to do doubles, but I might, and I'm trying to stick to the "recently discovered." I love these blogging ladies!
